Philosophie (2026)
David’s forthcoming album, Philosophie, marks a new chapter in his journey as a composer. Unlike the retrospective character of Home, this project looks forward — questioning existence, authenticity, and the search for meaning.
The music blends jazz improvisation, indie-rock energy, and modern classical textures, while lyrics in both German and English explore solitude, love, ideology, and resilience. Inspired by philosophy and poetry – from Rilke to Žižek – the album takes the listener into an introspective, dreamlike world.
